“Worship …Redefined”

Let’s talk about “Worship” – What is it?  Does it include a feeling?  I hear often “I feel like we really worshipped today“.  How do you know when you have worshipped?  When does worship happen?

What are your thoughts on whorship and what it is?

  1. To quote my favorite artist, Rich Mullins “Christ said those who worship worship in spirit and in truth. He didn’t say they worship with the hair on the back of their necks raised.” He also said “A spiritual thing is folding your clothes at the end of the day. A spiritual thing is making your bed. A spiritual thing is taking cookies to your neighbor that is shut in or raking their front lawn because they are too old to do it. That is spirituality.” I think the same could be said for worship.

  2. That sounds like Brother Lawrence and the life he lived. He lived his life in such a way the even doing the dishes was and act of worship for him.

So here is my question… How do we define worship? And are we basing it on our outcomes or do our outcomes come out of the defenition?
